Best of Ohio’s Amish Country, a co-op marketing group, has a new member.

Nature’s Food Market, located on the square in Berlin, has become the seventh member of the co-op marketing group. All members are family-owned stores that offer high quality products and service to customers. The group was established in 2005.

“I am happy to be a part of such an outstanding group of businesses,” said Zedrick Clark, the owner of Nature’s Food Market.

The market focuses on providing as many organic items as they can for their customers. Nature’s Food Market sells nutritional supplements, fresh produce, bulk ingredients, juices, organic grains and cereal, and more.

It is located on state Route 39 at the square in Berlin, considered the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country. Nature’s Food Market’s slogan is “Wellness is contagious.”

Clark said he is in business with a purpose and that purpose is to supply customers with information and food options that will help people make the changes they want to in life.

“We have one of the largest selections of vitamins and herbs in Ohio,” Clark said.

Nature’s Food Market has been providing quality information and products for 30 years, according to Clark. Their customers are both local and from beyond Amish Country, including other states.

“Food is the foundation of everything we do for our customers,” Clark said. He emphasized that employees bag everything by hand, careful to avoid any cross contamination.

“We want to separate the myth from the facts in the natural food movement,” Clark said. “The way we purchase, prepare, and package our food is just one way we do that.”

Clark said that education is the key for both staff and customers. Nature’s Food Market offers information to both individuals and groups.

“When it comes to quality and variety,” Clark said, “we are a one-stop shop.”

Other members of Best of Ohio’s Amish Country include Amish Door Village, Wilmot; Coblentz Chocolates, Walnut Creek; Homestead Furniture, Mt. Hope; Keim Lumber, Charm; Lehman’s, Kidron; and P. Graham Dunn, Dalton.
