On Saturday, April 9, music students from West Holmes Middle School participated in the Ohio Music Education Association’s District 10 Solo & Ensemble Adjudicated Event held at Ontario Middle School near Mansfield. Students perform for judges and are given ratings for their performances.

Receiving Superior ratings: piano soloists: Brittany Phillips and Kaelin Nelson; vocal soloists: Emily Sprang, Philip Schaffter, Rylee Compton, Alison Sprang, and Sarah Miller; seventh grade vocal ensemble (Serena Miller, Sarah Miller, Cole Woods, Kinsey Martin, Ethan Meyer, Abby Wagner, Brittany Phillips, Summer Soto, Taylor Keim, and Rylee Compton); and the eighth grade mixed vocal ensemble (Jeff Young, Jordan Stutzman, Philip Schaffter, Maddie Wolfe, Alexus Rusnak, Riley Wilcox, Jillian Strouse, Nicole Strouse, Alison Sprang, and Gabby Patterson).

Receiving Excellent ratings: vocal soloists: Taylor Keim and Maddie Wolfe; and clarinet quartet (Kaelin Nelson, Stacey Plank, Ciera Rose, and Nicole Strouse).
