The Holmes County youth baseball season roared to life on Friday, April 15, which ushered in the extravagant Super Saturday, in which six games were lsated to take place. Unfortunately, it was super rainy on Saturday, so the games were moved to Sunday, April 16, where high winds made even the easiest of pop-ups a challenge to track down and securely put away.
Depsite the wind, there was enough of a break in the rain to get the games in, and now all of the area youth baseball teams will kick it into high gear for the better part of the summer. You can track results and standings here in The Holmes County Journal, along with plenty of colorful photographs.
