Mary Greaser
Mary Greaser, 75, of Orrville, died May 9, 2011, at her residence, following a period of declining health.
Mary was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Sugarcreek, to the late Dan and Katie Yoder. She worked in sales for Bennett’s Appliance, Orrville, for 12 years, retiring in 2002. She had previously managed the Village Dutchman, Dalton, for 16 years.
Mary was a member of Orrville Christian Church, where she was part of the Growing Christians Sunday school class. She was a former Orrville PTA president, a member of the Business Professional Women, and a Vivian Woodard Cosmetics consultant. She enjoyed traveling and riding with her husband on their Gold Wing motorcycle, playing cards, and wintering in Sarasota, Fla. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Robert K. Greaser, whom she married Oct. 19, 2002; sons, Steve (Kim) Troyer and Kevin (Sandy) Troyer, both of Orrville; stepchildren, Robert A. (Tracy) Greaser of Emmaus, Pa., and Donna (John) Truskowski of Harleysville, Pa.; five grandchildren, Becky (Steve) Bierbower of Port Washington, and Amanda, Adam, Jamie, and Katie Troyer, all of Orrville; seven stepgrandchildren, Morgan, Tyler, and Korbin Greaser of Emmaus, Pa., and Brittany, Zachary, Natalie, Chase, and Madison Truskowski of Harleysville, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, Jack Bierbower, Jarrett Lutt, and Brynnlee Bierbower, all of Port Washington; sister, Esther (Dean) Short of Archbold; and brother, Darrell (Mary Frances) Yoder of Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren A. Troyer, whom she married Nov. 8, 1952; and brother, Monroe Yoder.
Services will be held May 13, at 11 a.m., at Orrville Christian Church, with Rev. Tom Ledford officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Smithville. Friends may call May 12, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., or one hour prior to services.
