Last year’s event showcased 12 local artists who were set up around the farm grounds in tents and on porches of the different buildings. If you are an artist and would like to participate in this event, call Jo Ann at 330-893-3232. There is no fee to set up at the event. Artists may sell their product throughout the day but are required to be painting or drawing for visitors to be able to watch. The event is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and artists will be required to be in attendance for the duration of the day.
The event is open to various forms of art including watercolors, oils, pencil art, chalks, and more. “We would love to include stained glass and pottery as well as other forms of art,” said Jo Ann Hershberger, coordinator of the event. New for this year will be beginner art projects for children who are interested in art. These short and easy classes will be available for a small fee throughout the day.
