Anna was born Dec. 22, 1942, in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Charles Golden and Lucy Geraldine Edgell, and had been a Wayne County resident most of her life. She was a member of Smithville Mennonite Church and had attended Mount Zion Church of God, Wooster.
Anna was a devoted homemaker who loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed all types of crafts, but most importantly throughout the years she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Surviving are sons, Oscar (Lisa) Moreno Jr. and Robert Alex (Tina) Moreno, both of Wooster, and Joseph Charles (Rachel) Seko of Orrville; sisters, Iris (Reuben) Stark, Charlotte (Paul) Stetler, and Virginia (Carl) Braun, all of Wooster, Aretta (Frank) Akers of Shreve, Kathy (Richard) Shedron of Millersburg, and Phyllis (Larry) Bellman of Orrville; 10 grandchildren, Michael Benchoff Moreno, Kayla R. Moreno, Amber L. Moreno, Alex S. Moreno, Kyle R. “Robby” Moreno, Alisha R. Moreno, Robby Seko, Mason Seko, Leland Seko, and Jennifer Seko; two great-grandchildren, Madox R. Moreno and Braylon A. Stine; brothers, Lloye (Sue) Edgell and Robert (Millie) Edgell, both of Wooster, and Ernie (Nancy) Edgell of Moundsville, W.Va.; many nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver and friend, Kewanee Berg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold George Seko, whom she married March 7, 1972; infant son, Joseph Alex Moreno; sister, Dorothy Summers; brothers, Roger and Charles Edgell; and several nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Crystal T. Akers.
Services will be held June 22, at 11 a.m., at Mount Zion Church of God, 837 S. Geyers Chapel Rd., Wooster, with Pastor Tom Geisenger officiating. Interment will be in Wooster Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church for a time of fellowship and food afterwards. Visitation will be June 21, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster.
