The Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center will hold a daytime open house July 26, from noon to 3:30 p.m., to showcase fall adult programs. Slots are still available in daytime programs like Business Office, Construction Trades, and Maintenance Training; night-time programs have openings in BioScience, Welding, and HVAC. The earlier a person secures funding, the better since several courses fill rapidly.

Lori Keiser, adult transitions coordinator, said, “Most of our programs are eligible for Pell Grant assistance and Stafford loans. Completing financial aid forms can be time-consuming and confusing but we will assist any person for free.” Keiser will be available to discuss possible financial aid options and provide classroom tours.
