To East Holmes School District: The budget says school levy is going to be on ballot in November. Is it necessary to have 1.5 million over the next five years? They say if you live on $100,000 property it will raise tax only $120.34 per year. How many people live on $100,000 properties? Why not say $200,000 property $240.68 a year? That would be more realistic. Over half of our land tax already goes to schools.

Why not consider all the Amish that send their children to parochial schools at our own expense.

We have so many people with financial problems the way it is. If not registered to vote, call Holmes County Board of Elections at 330-674-5921. They are willing to send out a form. This needs to be done by Oct. 1, 2011.
