Beverly Emmons, 59, of Killbuck, died July 12, 2011, at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, following a short illness.

Beverly was born April 9, 1952, in Millersburg, to the late Homer Sheldon and Betty Rae Emmons. She was a member of Millersburg Baptist Church and loved to sew and do crafts. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook.

Surviving are sisters, Barbara Hale of Millersburg, Brenda (Lyle C.) Daniel of North Carolina, and Bo (Randy) Jones of Holmesville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Emmons; and a niece, Michele Lynn Rice.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Killbuck Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
