Six members of the Glenmont Seven Hills Garden Club answered roll call on August 3 at the Glenmont Community Center. Mildred Gandee read a devotion based on Revelations 2:7 that told the story of how Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy got their start. They talked about food preparations for the homecoming salads.

The fair garden was discussed and they decided to meet Friday evening and layout everything except the flowers so they wouldn’t sit in the hot tent for two days. Ricky Mast and Janice Turner will go back on Saturday evening and plant the flowers. Mast will do the niche arrangement.

Norma Shinabarker won the door prize provided by Mast. Refreshments were served by Dorothy Turner and Vivian Ashcraft.
