Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center fall registration
Adult registration is under way at Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center and it is not too late to apply for and receive financial aid. David Kleinschmidt, adult director, pointed out there are limited openings in BioScience, Business Office Technology, HVAC, STNA, Pharmacy Technician, and Phlebotomy.
Tina Snyder, the school’s financial aid coordinator, said students might receive as much as $5,500 from the federal Pell Grant program. Other sources of funding are also available. Snyder will be available to discuss possible financial aid options and provide classroom tours. Adults are welcome to stop daily, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., check out the website at http://www.acwhcc.org, or call the adult education office at 419-289-3313 to receive information about any adult courses.
