JY Siding sidles up to the top of the Killbuck Fall League standings

Trailing by two runs when their game against Big Run Farms was suspended due to fog, in the fifth-inning, back on August 31, JY Siding emerged from the haze on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and rallied for a 20-15 win, before plastering L & L Motors 14-2.

The back-to-back victories moved the siding company-sponsored team to 5-1 in Killbuck Fall League men’s softball action and into a side-by-side tie atop the standings with Farmerstown No. 2, which knocked down Precision Poured Walls 13-10.

While L & L Motors is still trying to get revved up and find its first W of the year, Mother Nature claimed her second straight victory, as Big Run Farms’ regularly scheduled game against Fredericksburg was postponed due to rain.
