Atlee was born Feb. 17, 1928, in Clark Township, Holmes County, to the late Levi R. and Amanda Troyer. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and was a member of Maranatha Fellowship Church.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Troyer, whom he married Sept. 10, 1978; children, Norman (Erma) Troyer of Weldon, Iowa, Robert (Ruby) Troyer of Sugarcreek, James (Rose) Troyer of Newmanstown, Pa., and Naomi (John) Miller and David (Leona) Troyer, both of Sugarcreek; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin L. (Edna) Troyer of Sugarcreek; sisters, Mattie Troyer, Edna (Henry) Miller, and Betty (Jonas) Miller, all of Sugarcreek; and brother-in-law, Dan Hershberger of Sugarcreek.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dena Troyer, whom he married Dec. 7, 1950; brothers, Robert Troyer and Milo Troyer; and sister, Esther Hershberger.
Services will be held Sept. 21, at 10 a.m., at Maranatha Fellowship Church, Sugarcreek, with Bishop Paul Leroy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County. Friends may call Sept. 19, from 6-8 p.m., and Sept. 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
