Mika’s parents, Jake and Kerilynn, will receive a photo package from LifeScapes Studio, which includes a free sitting and a nine-pose Expressions portrait for Mika. Grandparents of Mika are Walt and Hazel Perry of Wooster, and Jerry and Faith Jagger of Mount Gilead.
“We were glad to participate in something fun that raises money for an organization that we truly believe in,” said Kerilynn Jagger. Mika had placed second in last year’s contest.
There were 11 children featured in this year’s contest, each with his or her own jar for donations. Hudson Smith, of Shreve, came in second, raising $57.61, and Aleena Mast, of Orrville, came in third with $42.58.
“The project is so rewarding,” said Carrie Snyder, the group’s president. “We enjoy having the parents, family members, and public stop by to look at all of the beautiful babies on the display board. It’s a wonderful way to highlight the preciousness of each one of these children, and it generates interest in the pro-life educational materials we have to offer.”
