Holmes County College Fair to be held at Perry Reese Center Monday, Oct. 17

The annual Holmes County College Fair will be held on Monday, Oct. 17 at Hiland High School’s Perry Reese Jr. Community Center from 6:30-8 p.m. This is a free event and it is open to all residents of Holmes and surrounding counties. Parents and high school students as well as home school and adult students are encouraged to attend.

More than 70 exhibitors are expected to be present at this year’s college fair. Representatives from colleges, universities, technical schools, adult education programs, nursing schools, the military, as well as the Holmes County Education Foundation and the College Access Program will be available. Students and parents will have the opportunity to visit with and get information from the college representatives of their choice. Each family will receive a list of the exhibitors present.

The University of Akron, Alderson-Broaddus College, Ashland University, Aultman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, Bluffton University, Bradford School, University of Cincinnati, Cleveland Institute of Art, Defiance College, DeVry University, Heidelberg University, Hiram College, Hocking College, Holmes County College Access Program, Holmes County Education Foundation, Johnson & Wales University, Kent State University, Lourdes College, Malone University, University of Mount Union, Muskingum University, Ohio Dominican University, Ohio Northern University, Ohio State School of Cosmetology, The Ohio State University– ATI, Otterbein University, School of Advertising Art, Shawnee State University, Stark State College, Urbana University, Virginia Marti College of Art & Design, Walsh University, Wayne College, West Liberty University, West Virginia University, Wheeling Jesuit University, Wooster Beauty College, Wyotech, and Youngstown State University.

The attendance of these (and additional) institutions is subject to change. The College Fair is a great opportunity for students and parents to get information about higher education.
