In new business, the motion to pay for half of the tour bus, hotel, and registration costs for National Convention, motion passed. The motion to participate in the Antique Festival and buy candy was made and passed. The motion to conduct the 2011 annual nut and citrus sale was moved, passed. The motion to hold the October meeting at Casey Schlauch’s house was made and passed. The motion to have four tins of nuts equal one case of fruit, one mixed bag equal a case, one gallon of barbecue sauce equal a case, and four small bottles of barbecue sauce equal a case; motion passed. The motion to adopt the fruit sale incentives that the membership development committee recommends; motion passed. The motion to pay $100 for every kid that attends National Convention; motion passed. The motion to include a chapter degree ceremony in the March meeting; motion passed. The motion to adjourn was moved and passed. Closing ceremonies were held.
After the meeting, members enjoyed playing laser tag, roller skating, eating pizza, playing games, and just spending time with fellow FFA members.
