Jonas and Mary (Weaver) Gingerich celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 26.

Jonas and Mary were married October 26, 1961, and are the parents of Merlin (Rhoda) Gingerich, Karen (Ivan) Mast, Daniel (Regina) Gingerich, Arlene (David) Stutzman, Ruth (Ervin) Miller, Judie (Steven) Erb, and Julie Gingerich (deceased). They have 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jonas is retired from excavating and farming. He enjoys fishing and working on restoring his ‘58 Oldsmobile. Mary is retired from Walnut Hills Nursing Home. She enjoys quilting and gardening. They both enjoy traveling and attending their grandchildren’s sporting events.

They are members of Pleasant View Mennonite Church near Berlin.
