Only the scroogiest of people don’t like Christmas, and what is Christmas without myriads of bright, sparkling lights on the tree?
A pair of Historic Downtown Millersburg rooms at Hotel Millersburg will be aglow in Christmas lights, evergreens, decorations and Christmas cookies as Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary ushers in the Christmas season in style.
The Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary will host its second annual Christmas Tree and Wreath Festival Nov. 10, 11 and 12 in downtown Millersburg.
The festival will take place at Hotel Millersburg in the Lincoln Room and Ohio Room. The festival is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Admission is free.
The festival will feature more than 50 beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths all available for purchase. This year there will be several raffle items, including a sterling silver snowman pin valued at $80, a gift certificate for a free Thanksgiving turkey, an iPod and iPod dock, and many beautifully arranged gift baskets. All proceeds will go to the Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary.
Spectators can enjoy refreshments and cookies as they walk through the event, which is practically sure to get anyone into the Christmas spirit.
All purchased trees and wreaths can be picked up at Hotel Millersburg between 7 and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 or 8-11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13.
