Rob Schlabach
Rob R. Schlabach, 66, of Millersburg, died Oct. 30, 2011, at San Pedro Sula, Honduras, while receiving medical treatments.
Rob was born July 29, 1945, in Millersburg, to the late Roy L. and Iva Schlabach. He was a member of the Amish Church and was ordained to the ministry in 1973.
Surviving are his wife, Mary J. Schlabach, whom he married June 13, 1968; children, James Schlabach, Joe Schlabach, and Rhoda Schlabach, all of the home, and Rebecca (Jonas) Troyer, John Roy (Dorcas) Schlabach, Rachel (Andy) Miller, and Matthew (SuAnn) Schlabach, all of Millersburg; 15 grandchildren; and siblings, Levi (Ruth) Schlabach of Belle Center, David (Arie) Schlabach of Medina, N.Y., Emma (Dan) Miller of Belle Center, and Clara (Ray) Troyer of Millersburg.
Services were held Nov. 6, at the Schlabach residence, with Bishop Pete S. Miller officiating. Burial was in Raber Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County.
Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek.
