Melody McMahan
Melody D. McMahan, 56, of Holmesville, died Nov. 4, 2011, at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, following a sudden illness.
Melody was born Jan. 31, 1955, in Sutton, W.Va., to Helena and the late Eugene Barnett. She was a homemaker. She had several hobbies and loved to take pictures.
Surviving are her husband, Stanley McMahan, whom she married July 29, 2000; daughter, Helena Nygren of Ireland; son, Jason Clegg of Mt. Vernon; her mother, Helena Barnett of Millersburg; brothers, Terry (Nell) Barnett, Bill Barnett, and Tim Barnett, all of Millersburg; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog, Zorro.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David Barnett.
Private services will be held at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial will take place in Killbuck Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
