This past June 6-10, members of the Hiland FFA Chapter attended the first session of the FFA Camp Muskingum. The FFA Camp Muskingum is located in Carrol, Ohio. This trip was a chance for Ohio FFA Chapters to get together, meet new people, and practice leadership. The first session also happened to be the last session the 2010-2011 State FFA officers would be helping to organize.

The Hiland FFA members that attended were Zachary Wilcoxon, Ethan Spencer, Sara Hostetler, Monica Hershberger, Megan Hippert, Earl Boyles, Scott Mullet, Amanda Yoder and Chris Keim.

The camp offered a variety of different activities. An archery range and gun range were available for target practice. A boat house was open for canoeing, kayaking, and motor boating. Contests were also held for the FFA members. These contests included basketball, volleyball, tetherball, ping-pong, and softball. Fishing and swimming were two activities also available to the campers. All in all, the experience was a memorable one that will bring FFA chapters back next June.
