Learn Civil War history and sewing skills at the same time

Helping Hands Quilt Shop is offering The General’s Wives Quilt Club. This club is a great way to add to sewing skills while beefing up knowledge of Civil War history, as well as socializing with other quilters/sewers. As each block is expertly taught by Iva Yoder, participants will also be educated on the six Union general’s wives each block represents. This club meets every month beginning in February. At the end of the year, guests will have created a beautiful masterpiece from 1800s reproduction fabric. For more information or to sign up, call Helping Hands Quilt Shop at 330-893-2233 or email orders@helpinghandsquilts.com.
