Vera Miller
Vera Viola Miller, 77, of Sugarcreek, died Jan. 24, 2012, at her home, following a battle with cancer.
Vera was born June 16, 1934, in Holmes County, to the late Andrew E. and Fannie Miller. She retired from Walnut Hills Nursing and Retirement Community, where she worked for 31 years. She was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church, Berlin.
Vera is survived by sisters, Erma Miller of the home, Anna Miller of Sugarcreek, and Bena Miller of Malta; four nieces; and eight nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Katie Schlabach; and three brothers-in-law.
Services will be held Jan. 26, at 10 a.m., at Bethel Fellowship Church, Berlin, with Pastor Bill Mullet officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Jan. 25, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek is handling arrangements.
