8th Annual Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns Dec. 12 - 13

There is something special about a place where the work of the hands is connected to the bidding of the heart. Where hospitality is shown through homemade food and genuine pleasure at your presence. Where everything you can see or hear or smell or touch is the result of skilled hands, big hearts, and quiet faith. There is a simple premise at work in Ohio Amish Country: that when the hands are involved in crafting things – with time and faith and patience and passion – it more deeply touches the heart.

We invite you to the 8th Annual Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns, Dec. 12 and 13, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This year’s tour embraces Holmes County’s newly-adopted brand tagline, “Hand-Crafted, Heart-Felt.” At each inn, local business vendors will feature hand-crafted, heart-felt holiday inspirations, DIY tips, and ideas for upcycling, decorating, entertaining, crafting, and gift-giving.

Twelve delightfully decorated inns will welcome guests to their doors: The Barn Inn, Berlin Grande, Berlin Resort, Carlisle Country Inn Berlin, Carlisle Inn Sugarcreek, Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek, Comfort Suites Berlin, Guggisberg Swiss Inn, Miller Manor, Stone Cottage Inn, Victorian Suite, and Wallhouse Hotel.

At each stop on the two-day, self-guided tour satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious indulgences including scrumptious s’mores bars, carrot cake sandwich cookies, cranberry bliss cookies, chocolate peppermint dreams, orange poppy seed ricotta cookies, merry cherry Christmas tea cookies, and more.

Tickets are $35 for a single day and $60 for a two-day pass. Each patron will receive entrance to participating properties, wrapped specialty cookies, and a souvenir guide with the recipes of the cookies. In the spirit of Christmas giving, all net proceeds will be donated to charity.
