This year participating schools include Carrollton, Claymont, Conotton Valley, Dover, Garaway, Indian Valley, Newcomerstown, New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas Valley. Approximately 170 students will participate. Subway in New Philadelphia will donate the lunches for the day.
The following band and choir directors from participating schools were essential in organizing the concert:
Band director David Dickerhoof and choir director Peter Woodruff from Carrollton, band director James Howell and choir director John Warner from Claymont, band and choir director Jonathon Stuck from Conotton Valley, choir director Shawna Hinkle from Dover, band and choir director Stephen Tripp from Garaway, band director Dan Lenzer and choir director Melanie Glazer from Indian Valley, choir director Andrew Hall from Newcomerstown, band director Jeff Phillips and choir director Christa Roberts from New Philadelphia, and band director Lauren Hooper and choir director Megan Sams from Tuscarawas Valley.
Stuck, Howell, Dickerhoof, Phillips and Lenzer will direct students for the band. Glazer, Warner, Hinkle, Hall and Roberts will direct students for the choir. Hinkle also will be the accompanist for the program.
The concert is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. Cost of admission is $2 per person. Tickets are available at the door and by calling the PAC box office at 330-308-6400.
