The Dominic Greco Concert Band will present a special concert in Sugarcreek on Saturday, July 22 at the pavilion behind the fire station at 7 p.m. Those attending are reminded to bring their own chairs. In case of rain the concert will be held inside the pavilion.

The band is under the direction of Frederick Delphia of Dover. This will be the band’s 14th consecutive annual appearance in Sugarcreek.

The Dominic Greco Concert Band also has a scheduled performance on Thursday, July 27 at the Deis Hill Amphitheater in Dover at 7 p.m.

According to Delphia, the concerts will feature many of the popular concert selections presented throughout the season along with vocal and instrumental features and a good sprinkling of great marches. Always one of the many highlights of Dominic Greco Band concerts is spotlighting their vocalist Ron Barkett.

“The Dover Lions Club has done a fantastic job sponsoring these programs over the years, and we look forward to this year’s performance. Playing at Sugarcreek and Deis Hill continues the band’s vision to maintain — in the Tuscarawas Valley — the old-fashioned concert in the park,” Delphia said.
