Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties Inc. held its 20th annual Goodwill Golf Classic at the Wooster Country Club.

In addition to the golf participants, Goodwill recognized the following organizations and individuals who sponsored the event:

Event sponsor, The Commercial and Savings Bank; dinner sponsor, The Noble Foundation; lunch sponsor, Metal Dynamics Company; breakfast sponsor, United Titanium; golf ball sponsor, Buckeye Container; cart sponsor, Bogner Construction; beverage cart sponsors, Bowman Beverage and RDL Architects; and first prize sponsor, Schneider Computer Technologies.

The first-place winner was the Melway Paving team, which included Mike Healy, Steve Pemberton, Dee Graber and Larry Nagy.

Goodwill also recognized the many organizations that sponsored holes as well as the team of volunteers who made the outing a success. Proceeds from the Goodwill Golf Classic will be used to support Goodwill’s employment training programs and open up new opportunities for the organization to broaden its reach in the communities it serves.
