The Holmes County Education Foundation will sponsor an ACT Turbo Workshop to help with ACT test preparation at the University of Akron’s Millersburg campus, located above Bag’s Restaurant in Millersburg, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. In case of inclement weather, the workshop will be rescheduled for Feb. 17 or 24.

BWS Education Consulting will conduct the workshop. Students will work with actual sample tests from the ACT as well as additional test-preparation materials. Increased test scores can lead to increased scholarship amounts offered from colleges and universities. Students have shown to raise their ACT score between one and four points after completing the ACT Turbo Workshop.

The cost to participate is $20 or four hours of verified community service. Lunch will be included, and preregistration is required.
